Pinkpop 1979: Goede herinngeringen met Ad Staal en Martin van Wijngaarden met oa The Police, Rush, Peter Tosh, Average White Band (pick up the pieces), Massada, Dire Straits en natuurlijk in het knalrose Elvis Costellio. Eerst bloedheet en tijdens Costello een giga tropische bui in het oude sportpark in Geleen. Pinkpop 1980 was met oa Joe Jackson, U2 en the Jam (Going underground). Roxanne van The Police was het absolute hoogtepunt van Pinkpop 1979.
Aan het nummer I can’t stand losing you van de Police (nummer in het item hieronder) verder zeer speciale herinneringen maar niet blogwaardig.
